Kristine Wedra

Instructor

Kris started dancing at the age of 10 and never quit. She was a awarded MVP and best dancer on the nationally ranked Tinley Park High School dance team. Kris began her coaching career for the Lemont High School Cheer Squad. She earned her judging certification through Cheer LTD. She then taught at Youth Expressing Spirit located in Naperville, IL. Next, Kris opened her own studio called J&K Elite Studio. She successfully managed to grow the business and to more than 1,000 cheer and dance athletes. In 2017, Kris merged with Gymtime in Lockport, IL working as the Dance Director. Kris lead her Small Group, Infinity Dance Company to a overall high score at Ovational National Competition. Her dance teams and students have received several awards throughout the years including "Best Technique," 3 Grand Champions titles, 1 Summit bid, 2 national bids, 2 Dance Worlds Bid, and several top placements at various competitions. Kris is excited to join DDA as an Instructor, Choreographer and competition coach. She brings great experience and knowledge in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Precision Team styles.
